Enrolled Nurses are required to have completed a a qualification called Diploma of Nursing. This is a two year course made up of at practical and theoretical assessments, which then allows you to be registered with AHPRA.

You can work as an enrolled nurse on an ad-hoc/shift filling and contract assignment basis. Casual work allows you to fill shifts that fit your schedule, and this could be last minute cancellations or block bookings. Contract placements are often full time hour shifts, starting from 4 weeks and going up to three months, in more rural and remote areas of the country.

We have a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows for our nurses to educate and refresh their knowledge and skills so they are ready to work. This is regularly updated to reflect legislation and is role specific, and it will always be free to our candidates.

Casual employment opens you up to a range of perks:

  • Choosing your own schedule
  • Getting paid to explore the country
  • Deciding what your own work/life balance looks like
  • Take advantage of casual loading pay rates
