Permanent Recruitment

Sanctuary Recruitment's foundations lie in permanent management recruitment

At the core of our organisation lies the recruitment of both clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals into aged care homes on a permanent basis.

Our longstanding network of relationships with providers across the country has led to the placement of a number of candidates in respected roles within the aged care industry. We source and attract candidates in adherence with the Aged Care Standards, ensuring they promote the values outlined in The Aged Care Charter of Rights.

Sanctuary's approach to recruitment is thorough, consultative, and proactive. We are committed to ensuring that only the most suitable, qualified candidates are presented. Our permanent recruitment team tailor their searches specifically to your needs and company values.

Temporary

Our team of temporary consultants specialise in identifying experienced assistants in nursing, enrolled and registered nurses for casual roles in metro areas of Australia.

Sanctuary’s thorough credentialing process means that all candidates meet the experience and character requirements, which results in the delivery of quality services that respond to individual home needs.

Our nurses are immediately available, which alleviates staffing issues and fulfills care minutes, ensuring each resident receives the care they need.

Contract

Recruiting qualified, experienced, and compliant staff who are ready to commence work and bring value to their appointed homes is the main focus of our contract team.

We work with residential aged care, Aboriginal health, and multi-purpose services to identify professionals for rural locations Australia-wide in contracts from two weeks to six months.

Contract candidates have a minimum of twelve months of Australian aged care experience and are thoroughly assessed prior to commencing work.

The Sanctuary Experience

A big thanks to Dan for being such a great help and support. Even during the most stressful moments, your commitment to helping our facility, keeping me updated, and not giving up helped keep me calm.

Workforce Planner, Sydney

Leyla has taken the time to understand the needs of our facility and is a trusted stakeholder in fulfilling shift requirements. She feels like part of the family at our nursing home!

Residents Services Manager, Sydney

Recruitment of senior and specialist roles with our industry takes considerable time and market specific knowledge is of utmost important. While outsourcing comes with risk, finding a recruitment agency that has the appropriate knowledge and professionalism to represent your brand can make all the difference. I am more than happy to recommend Mitch and the team at Sanctuary for all your senior aged care appointments.

CEO, NSW

I have worked with Sanctuary for a number of years. Given the nature of aged care, recruitment of staff is a fundamental aspect, shaping both culture and resident outcome. Sanctuary, in particular Mitch Hamer, has provided consistent services based on the individualised needs of the organisation and position available – rather than the candidates they have available.

Chief Operating Officer, NSW

I have worked with Alex as a client and a candidate and have found him to be at the top of his game from both sides of the fence

Operations Manager, QLD

Hayley is one of the most professional recruiters I’ve worked with. Hayley took the time to understand our business and ever changing needs and was very adaptable to this consistently. She has excellent stakeholder skills and is a great communicator. I would highly recommend Hayley to anyone.

HR Manager, NSW

It would be honest and fair to say that if a candidate has been recommended by Sanctuary, it generally negates a second stage interview given the robust and bespoke selection process that Sanctuary provides prior to recommending a candidate for a position. Recruitment of staff is a fundamental aspect, shaping both culture and resident outcome.

Clinical Director, NSW

Richard has provided exemplary service in recruiting for positions within our organisation. He has a great working knowledge of the industry. It is due to this, that he is able to put forward the most suitable candidates after reviewing their suitability not only for the role but also for the culture of the organisation. We have always found Richard’s service to be thorough and efficient, including following up with his applicants post their appointment.

CEO, NSW

Thank you to the Sanctuary Recruitment team for the outstanding service for permanent and casual placements

Chief Operating Officer, NSW
